April Dawn Turner Robertson, 29, of Keifer, Oklahoma died tragically Friday, July 17, 2009 in Warner, Oklahoma. She was born on Tuesday, June 17, 1980 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Danny Thrall and Carole Evans. April's mother married Leroy Turner, who adopted her, and they made their home in Checotah where she grew up, attending Checotah Public Schools. In August of 1996, she married Shawn Robertson in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. At the time of her death, April was an Apartment Manager in Tulsa. She was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter and friend. Family was very important to her. She enjoyed shopping and attending Church on the Move in Tulsa, Ok. April was preceded in death by her Dad, Leroy Turner, Maternal Grandmother, Sherlon Kay Evans, Maternal & Paternal Great-grandparents, JC & Cletis Williams, Hugh & Mary Evans, & Tom & Zonelle Bevans. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Shawn of the home; Four children, Destiny, Ciara, Austin, & Victor; Her mother, Carole Evans; Her biological father, Danny Thrall; Three Sisters, Denni Shamblin, Pamela Jarvis and her husband Rick, & Telia Thomas; One Brother Tim Turner; Two Aunts
, Connie Aldridge & Christi Williams; Maternal Grandfather, Charles Evans, Paternal Grandmother, Beverley Ellis; Paternal Grandparents, Hubert and Hope Turner, Cherry Smith & Wayne Robertson; A Brother in-law, RJ Gross and his wife Angel and a sister-in-law, Jenny Gross; other extended family and a host of friends. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, July 27, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Checotah with Pastor Tim Whisenhunt, officiating.
